What are the curfews?

Curfews for the residents in the first 30 days are Sunday-Thursday 10 PM, Friday and Saturday 11 PM. After the first 30 days curfews may be extended to midnight on the weekdays and 1 AM weekends.

Are there mandatory meetings that take place in the house?

Yes, there are two mandatory house meetings per week. They generally take place in the evening hours depending on resident's schedules. These meetings are designed to cover any house issues or concerns, spiritual / recovery progress as well as anything else pertaining to their sobriety and quality of life.

Are residents required to be employed?

Although residents are not mandated to have a job, it is strongly encouraged that they seek employment. We will help in resume building, interviewing skills and job searches; computers are available anytime at the homes for residents to go online and job search.

What type of structure is available during the day for unemployed residents?

Residents are required to be out of bed by 8AM, dressed, showered with chores completed and ready for morning meditation meeting by 10AM. Additionally, no television is allowed between the hours of 1PM and 5 PM. Daily recovery meetings are posted and attendance is required for all residents who currently are unemployed.

How long is the typical stay?

Although duration of stay depends on the specific needs of the individual, a typical stay is usually 6 months. Our goal is to implement a structured and recovery-oriented lifestyle into the lives of all our residents. This concept often requires a complete overhaul of the individuals thought process, which can take time, sometimes up to a year.

What are the consequences to breaking house rules?

The consequences on breaking house rules vary depending on the infraction and include the addition of chores to an individuals schedule, restricted curfew, guest restrictions and temporary/permanent removal from the premises.

Are there weekly/monthly group activities?

Residents are encouraged to participate in the daily schedule as a group. We believe house accountability and group support is paramount for success in early recovery and we view each house as its own family setting. Group activities tend to naturally develop through the process of group bonding.

Do you accept insurance or offer any financing?

If enrolled in our Treatment Program, our Intensive Outpatient Program accepts all types of insurance. However, insurance is not accepted for sober living. Financing is available through Clark Behavioral Financing who specialize in substance abuse related treatment financing...

What does the house provide? What is included in the fee?

We provide a pantry and fill the fridge with food every week. Also, all utilities, cable TV, computers with internet, WIFI, phone, washer and dryer and ALL linens.

What do you I need to bring?

Residents are encouraged to bring no more than a three-week supply of weather appropriate clothing. There is a washer and dryer in each of the homes, and we encourage keeping it simple and not bringing your entire wardrobe! Here is a list of things you should also consider bringing:

  • Medical and RX insurance cards
  • All personal hygiene articles (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, tampons, razors, etc..) If you don’t have these items don’t worry, we will provide them for you
  • Tennis shoes, bath slippers
  • Ipod and headphones
  • Laptop
  • Gym clothes and gym bag
  • Recovery / spiritual related books
  • Bike
  • The willingness to do whatever it takes to get and stay sober!

What not to Bring?

  • Any medications not pre-approved or without prescriptions
  • Drugs or alcohol (this is a no-brainer!!)
  • Over the counter medications
  • Weapons of any sort
  • An attitude that can be toxic to the sober community!
