Requirements of Residency
Moving In - What's Expected of You
When you come into the house for the first time, you'll be tested for drugs and alcohol and asked to fill out the intake forms. Your bags will be checked as well as your person. You will meet your resident house manager and fellow housemates in recovery. Another resident, probably the senior resident, will acquaint with your new home and the way it works
Residents must attend 12-step meetings daily and be actively working the steps with a sponsor. All houses are walking distance to meetings and to public transportation. House meetings occur every evening. This is where you will begin to see and understand what the house is about. Residents talk about their day, bring up any house issues and talk about all things related to recovery. It’s a private forum, designed ONLY for housemates, where everything said and heard in that room does not leave the house. We must always respect each other’s confidentiality and anonymity.
Move-in Deposit
Residents will be required to pay a small non-refundable deposit in order to move into any of our sober living homes.
